David Welch has a broad range of experience in design and landscape architecture. He has produced landscape and irrigation construction documents for several parks and elementary school projects including El Cerrito’s new High School and Harding Elementary School. He is an expert in the design of sports facilities and playgrounds. David has mastered the art of finished graphics including SketchUp Pro to create 3D graphic exhibits that are routinely used in UDLA’s practice to communicate alternatives and final design solutions to citizens, community leaders and staff. Dave also has particular experience in the renovation of historic projects and has extraordinary knowledge of period design and is a talented landscape designer.

Gabriel is a multi-talented architect with 21 years of experience in all aspects of architectural practice including support on landscape architecture and master planning projects. He has participated in the design of a significant number of planned communities including neighborhood design, complete streets, parks and recreation and trail network planning. He is trained in architecture and landscape architecture, CAD drafting, construction documents, project management and construction administration. From 1990 to 1995, Gabe was co-principal of an architectural practice in Italy that focused on residential housing design, commercial project in caring capacities, and interior design for several medical offices. His work included collaborations with the University of Architecture in Florence, Italy including the restoration and revitalization of several sites with the historic district in downtown Campo basso, Italy. He also participated in several winning comp-etitions winning including the Disegnare la Tradizione in 1993 for an original table design. He has countless years rendering and is an accomplished painter with exhibits in the United States and Italy.

Chris is responsible for AutoCAD production of design development drawings and construction drawings as well as, 3-D graphics exhibits.  He completed his Masters of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York where he was also an instructor for Real World AutoCAD.  His is an expert in electronic media including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Arc View GIS, and 3D Studio Max.  From 2005 to 2008, he worked for two landscape architecture firms in the Bay Area, NUVIS Landscape Architecture in San Ramon and Ripley Design Group in Walnut Creek.  Chris also was an intern with Landscape Architecture Section, San Francisco Bureau of Engineering where he worked on streetscape and park projects.
