Tidelands Park, Coronado, CA
This 20-acre park replaces an abandoned navy site and is the shadow of the Coronado Bay Bridge. Scope included park master plan, construction document, construction administration. Total, construction budget: $2,100,000. The Port celebrated the reopening of the tot lot portion of the park in 2015 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The port of San Diego, ADA Accessibility Advisory Committee, Coronado volunteer residents and Universal Design advocates organized to create an accessible playground renovation.
